Hidden Valley: An Institute for the Arts

The second concert of Festival Rolland’s series at Hidden Valley takes its title from Alexandra T. Bryant’s string quartet Lady Isabelle Was That Kind of Woman, which is based on an English folk song telling the story of a courageous woman who escaped her murderous husband. Dvorák’s Piano Quintet in A Major maks the joyous and celebratory end to Festival Rolland’s concert series at HiddenValley.

Ballare Carmel is extremely pleased to be partnering with Hidden Valley Music Seminars for this silent auction, preview performance, and toast with the artists. The programme will include a new piece by Zurich-based, celebrated dancemaker IHSAN RUSTEM with set design by Mark Baer, as well as multi-media and intergenerational new work by Lillian Barbeito and collaborator Skye Schmidt.
