Please come and enjoy a wonderful collection of Ukrainian folk songs, dances and special performances.
The concert will have 2 parts, 45 mins each. Intermission between two parts will be 30 mins during which there will be silent and live auction.

The Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz is proud to announce our 11th annual Smoldering Uke winter retreat event at the Hidden Valley Music Seminars campus in beautiful Carmel Valley, CA. As always, we’re featuring numerous workshops on a variety of musical topics taught by talented musicians, as well as organized play and singalongs. All events are aimed at helping you to become a better ukulele player – regardless of ability level – as well as enhance your overall enjoyment of the instrument.

BIG BAND WORKSHOP: Hidden Valley an Institute of the Arts
Big band players gather to participate in rehearsals and music classes under the guidance of a seasoned professional conductor and teacher, Craig Buhler. Between classes, enjoy informal jam sessions, and teh serene and inspiring beauty of Hidden Valley Institute in Carmel Valley, nestled amongst oak and buckeye hillsides. This program is designed for intermediate to advanced players.
