Legendary singer-songwriter Lacy J. Dalton will perform as both a duo with guitarist Dale Poun, and also with country-rock band Edge Of The West, at the Hidden Valley Music Seminars in Carmel Valley on Saturday November 19, to benefit the KSQD 90.7FM Signal Expansion Campaign. Gold Circle Ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet with Lacy J. Dalton personally. A silent auction, additional band and station merchandise, and refreshments will be available.

On Saturday the traditional Butterfly Parade at noon through downtown features cute kindergarteners dressed in butterfly wings and older children dressed as local wildlife, along with marching bands, floats and classic cars—everything beloved about a small town parade. Saturday, Oct. 1; 9am-4pm, Sunday, Oct. 2. Downtown Pacific Grove. Free.

Carmel Sunset Rotary Club Presents “The Pointe of Art Exhibition Reception and Benefit Auction” on Friday, September 9, 2022 — from 6 pm to 8 pm — to support The Monterey Peninsula Ballet Theater Scholarship Program. Hosted by both Bennett Sculpture Carmel on Dolores at 6th and Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery next door on Dolores between 5th and 6th., admission is free. Auction proceeds benefit scholarships for the dancers at the Monterey Peninsula Ballet Theater. The event includes a reception with music by Cameron Stoddard – Carmel Sunset Rotary President! Guests will meet prominent artists and bid on their original art inspired by the dancers – featured in this month’s Carmel Magazine on newsstands now!
