Process painting gives me the freedom to create with both color and texture. Layering in intense color with paper & fabric evokes an intimate conversation with the painted surface. A subconscious narrative unfolds as a visual story that engages viewers for a moment of reflection. The intention is a shared harmonious connection with our ever changing external and internal environments.

In my classes, I teach the unfolding of color, contrast, and line, as well as how to see the elements of a subject and how they correspond to the evolution of the design. Ultimately that brings forth an artist’s personal signature style in any medium.
