There’s a new destination for vintage bike fans. The Moto Talbott Motorcycle Collection in Carmel Valley Village, touted the largest West Coast public exhibition of motorcycles.
Robert Talbott, a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, is the visionary founder of the project. After collecting bikes for 15 years, he decided he needed his own museum with the mission to educate, preserve, and restore with passion.
There is no logic to the Talbott collection, other than the most logical thing of all: it’s full of stuff Robb Talbott likes. This means three large categories: vintage dirt bikes, MV Agustas and all things Italian; and tiny, 175cc, pre-1957 Motogiro bikes. There are even a few vintage bicycles. Stop by and visit the Moto Talbott Collection.
