The barn red buildings of the Farm Center against the backdrop of Carmel Valley’s rolling ranch land and scenic riding trails, has a rich history. Located halfway between Highway One and the Carmel Valley Village, it is one of, if not the oldest, shopping centers in the Carmel Valley. It’s history consisted of a Texaco gas station, grocery, and small western wear shop. Locals remember the life-size plastic horse, a Paul Bunyan, and a long pair of Lee Riders hanging out front.
Today, it has reinvented itself into a creative center. Visit the historic Farm Center located at Robinson Canyon Road, at the entrance to the famed Carmel Valley Ranch.
